How the Well Reserve Works.
The Well Reserve collects gradually from a measured, stable low-yield well. Flow is set below sustainable production, stored in the integrated tank, and delivered to the home at dependable pressure.

The Well Reserve uses an owner-set collection rate. The setting is selected according to the well’s measured production and may need to be reviewed if well conditions change.
The Well Harvester provides more advanced automatic well management, including production-based operation, automatic over-pump protection, monitoring, and optimization as the well’s behavior changes.
The two systems also connect to the well differently. The Well Reserve keeps the existing well pressure tank in place, while the Well Harvester replaces the existing pressure tank as part of its well-control system.

Yes. The existing pressure tank that serves your well pump should remain installed with the Well Reserve. It continues to support the normal operation and cycling of the existing well pump as water is supplied to the system.
This is an important installation difference from the Well Harvester. The Well Harvester replaces the existing well pressure tank as part of its automated well-control configuration, while the Well Reserve does not.

Yes. The Well Reserve can be connected to a properly sized 120-volt generator to operate the booster pump and pressurize the home using water already stored in the tank.
The generator should provide at least the required operating wattage and enough surge capacity for booster-pump startup. The system uses approximately 1,200 watts while operating and approximately 2,250 watts during startup.
Generator size should also account for any other appliances or equipment connected at the same time.
The home can continue using the water already stored in the tank. Once that reserve is depleted, the well must resume supplying water before the tank can refill.
The Well Reserve stores and pressurizes available water, but it cannot create water or guarantee future well production.
