Yes. The standard Well Harvester includes 215 gallons of storage. Each Additional Tank Kit increases the total storage capacity by another 215 gallons.
The appropriate capacity depends on well production, household demand, irrigation use, and how much reserve water you want available during periods of heavier use.

The booster pump can deliver strong household flow from the stored water, but that does not increase the amount of water the well produces. Heavy irrigation can consume water much faster than a low-yield well can replenish it.
Well production, household size, normal daily use, irrigation demand, and desired reserve capacity should all be considered when sizing the system.

Yes. The Well Harvester can work with a stable well producing 2 GPM or more, especially when automatic monitoring, pump protection, touchscreen controls, or reduced owner involvement are priorities.
However, a stable, accurately measured well at about 2 GPM or more may also be a good fit for the simpler Well Reserve. The best choice depends on how much automation and protection you want.
Compare Well Harvester and Well ReserveNo. The Well Harvester manages, stores, and pressurizes the water produced by the well. It is not a filtration, purification, softening, or water-conditioning system.
In most installations, filtration and conditioning equipment should be installed after the Well Harvester so the well fills the system before the stored water passes through the treatment equipment on its way to the home.
This may include sediment filtration, iron or sulfur treatment, water softening, ultraviolet treatment, reverse osmosis, or other equipment selected for the property’s water quality.
The Well Harvester requires electrical power to operate its controller, booster pump, and normal automatic functions. Without power, the system will not normally provide pressurized water to the home.
The Well Harvester can be plugged into a properly sized generator capable of supplying the wattage required by the system and booster-pump startup. This allows the booster pump to pressurize the home using water already stored in the tanks.
Operating the existing well pump to refill the system may require additional generator capacity depending on the well-pump voltage, startup demand, and electrical configuration.
No. The Well Harvester cannot create water or guarantee the future production of a well. Well output may change because of seasonal water levels, drought, nearby pumping, aquifer conditions, or mechanical issues.
The system is designed to capture the water that is available, reduce the risk of over-pumping, and make better use of the well’s measured production.
Yes. The Well Harvester is backed by a three-year limited warranty. Coverage applies to the system components under the warranty terms provided with your purchase.

We generally recommend at least 0.25 gallon per minute of sustained well production. At that rate, a well may produce approximately 360 gallons over a full day when conditions allow continuous recovery.
Whether that is enough depends on household size, actual water use, irrigation demand, seasonal production, and the amount of storage included with the system.
